I’m 18 yrs old and 6′1.5″. I’ve always had a bit of a belly, but I eat relatively healthy and and do track winter/spring. Starting last August I’ve gotten serious about weight lifting and have been doing it consistently up till now. However, in making sure that my gains were as fast as possible, my weight has ballooned to 200-205 lbs. I’m guessing at least 15 lbs is fat, maybe even 25.

And so I’m considering a ketogenetic diet. SInce sprinting is anerobic, I’ll do fine with protein only. However, it may affect my schoolwork, and I heard that low-carb diets stunt your growth. I’m only considering doing the first 2 weeks of Atkins, then switching to something more balanced. (BTW- I already cut my sugar and controlled portion
